Jessica dropped us off at the MTC on Sunday, August 25. We went to the Sunday night devotional led by the MTC Mission Leaders, Kevin and Sydnee Calderwood. President Calderwood was our Stake President in Oakton, Virginia and called Brian to be the Bishop of Fair Oaks Ward in 2008. The Calderwoods spoke about the Book of Mormon tonight. Two of Brian’s GMU institute students from Virginia are in the MTC with us. Ammon Thrift going to the Philippines and Sister Tess Smith going to Madrid. President Calderwood will set us apart tomorrow.
