One of our employment services missionaries Elder Thomas Kemp from Connecticut, mentioned on the phone the other day that our work is a joyful work. I agree. Helping people with such an important part of life as employment, is joyful.
The Manhattan temple is still undergoing the deconstruction phase, so we hear and feel the noise from our apartment. Elder Doug and Martha Welling, the temple construction missionaries, sponsored a Crumbl cookie night for all the tenants in the apartments, knowing that the noise would be increasing and continuing for a few months. It’s still going to be a few years before the temple is complete but it will look beautiful on the inside and outside. Here is a rendition of what the outside will look like.
