Saturday, we went to the Philadelphia Temple for a temple session. (The Manhattan Temple is closed for two more years for remodeling.) We were going to take a bus to Philadelphia, but ended up riding in a car with some Union Square 1st Ward members. We used to go to the Philadelphia Temple when the Washington, DC Temple was closed for remodeling. It is about 2 hours to Philadelphia each way. After the temple session we ate Philly Cheesesteaks. It was a long day but it was great to get to go to the temple!
