On Monday, September 30, 2024 we attended a Senior Missionary activity to Old Westbury Gardens. Old Westbury Gardens is the former estate of businessman John Shaffer Phipps, an heir to the Phipps family fortune, in Nassau County, New York. We toured the mansion and then ate lunch at the café in the woods on the property. We met a brand new senior missionary couple from Pocatello, ID, Steve and Patrice Williams. They are serving a CES mission. Elder Steve Williams knew my grandparents, Hugh and Marie Baldwin and many of my aunts and uncles. He grew up in their same ward in Moreland, ID.
There are so many of you! How wonderful!!!
