Today we went to Stake Conference in Inwood. It took us about 45 minutes to get there by subway. After the meeting we saw Sister Goade! She served in the Washington DC South Mission four years ago and was in Ty’s ward in Bristow, Virginia. She is married now and she and her husband are both in grad school here in NYC. They met at Utah Valley University. She said that when she had her exit interview at the end of her mission that the mission president told her that she had been such a good missionary at finding people who were interested in the gospel, that he knew that she would have an easy time finding a husband. Her new last name is Goade-Gaeber.
