It was beautiful day, so Brian and I took a walk to the Shakespeare Garden in Central Park. The four-acre space is densely planted with trees, shrubs, flowers, and herbs mentioned in William Shakespeare’s plays and poems. Scattered throughout the Garden are bronze plaques with quotes from Shakespeare that reference plants. We were walking along one of the paths and almost interrupted a wedding proposal…..a guy was down on one knee holding out a ring to his girlfriend. They even had a friend behind a tree filming the whole thing!
